This policy explains what personal information Groomskart ("we", "us") collects when you use this website, why, and what choices you have. We are based at 53/4, Netaji Subhas Road, Hooghly, West Bengal - 712248. What we collect - Account details: your name, email address and phone number, when you log in, check out or book a call. - Orders: the delivery address, the items you bought, your order history, and any exchange or refund details. - Measurements: if you order a made-to-order piece, the body measurements you enter. - Appointments and alterations: your name, phone number, the time you choose, the product you are asking about, and any notes you write. - Messages: what you send us on WhatsApp or by email. - Payments: we never see or store your card, UPI or bank details. Razorpay collects and processes them. If we refund you by bank or UPI when a refund is due on a Cash on Delivery order, we use the details you send us for that refund only. - Reviews: the review text and rating you choose to post. - Usage data: if you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics records how the site is used. Why we use it - To take, deliver, exchange and refund your orders, and to tell you about their progress by email or WhatsApp. - To make your made-to-order piece to your measurements. - To run your booked calls and send a reminder. - To log you in. We send a one-time code to your email; there is no password. - To answer your questions and complaints. - To prevent fraud and misuse, for example repeated refused Cash on Delivery orders. - To keep records that tax and accounting law require. - To improve the site, if you have accepted analytics cookies. If you start checkout and do not finish, we may contact you on WhatsApp or by email to help complete it. We do not sell your personal information. Who we share it with - Razorpay, to take your payment. - Courier and logistics partners, to deliver your order: your name, address and phone number only. - Service providers that run the site for us: our database and storage provider (Supabase), our hosting provider (Netlify) and our email provider (Resend). They process data on our behalf and only for that purpose. - Google, for Google Analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies. - Authorities, if the law requires it. We do not share your information with anyone else for their marketing. How long we keep it We keep your account and order information while your account is active and for as long as tax, accounting or legal rules require us to keep order records. You can ask us to delete your account; records we must legally keep are deleted once that period ends. Your rights You may ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for a purpose you did not agree to. Write to groomskart@gmail.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. You can also decline analytics cookies at any time through the cookie banner. Security We use encrypted connections and restrict who can see customer information. No online service is completely risk-free, so please keep your email account secure, since your login code is sent there. Children This site is meant for adults buying clothing. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. Changes We may update this policy as the site changes. The version on this page is the current one.
